Can we surround our grief with tenderness? Can we offer our challenges grace? Can we stop pushing against challenges and offer ourselves compassion. It’s these things that change everything. Or did for me.

I’ll be hiding out for a couple of days with my power off and screens off. I’ll be hanging out with books by the fire and napping and adjusting my eyes to candle light. I’ll be resting into the deep quiet dark.
